Many Moments!

Since the next big holiday is just aroubd the corner, I thought I'd post photos from the last one. Phoebe and Mia had such a busy October. Halloween was a definite highlight. Phoebe figured out what sweet treats, specifically M&M's are. We also had a blast in Carmel with the Chacko family and their two lovely, and oh so well behaved girls. Had we known the trip was going to be so easy, we would have booked more days in the rental. The weather was perfect, and the location of the house was amazing.

I couldn't resist putting these in. There were so many photos from the evening of Phoebe in her 9 month old bathing suit with lots of body paint. She seemed to be on a roll that night!

October 2008

Phoebe and Mia are sharing more quality moments together, and these were captured in the over 700 photos that I had to review just in the month of October. I guess we got a little crazy with the camera. Phoebe is into reclaiming clothing and toys that were originally hers, but that Mia may be about to wear or playing with. Mia is crawling, trying to walk with minimal assistance, and talking quite a bit. In fact, she said "blue" this morning. She says Dada more often than Mama, but I've learned to accept that they both revere him. This first photo captures Phoebe in her 9 month old bathing suit.

I think that she was prancing around because it actually still kinda fits. She only weighs about three pounds more than Mia!

If you tickle Mia, she has such a robust belly laugh, and it's really contagious. She's a very happy baby.

Phoebe has also entered into her imaginitve play phase. She is wearing my surgical cap here, and trying to look serious. She actually has more fun pretending that she is putting on make-up. When she is wearing clothes, she likes to wear a jumpsuit that she calls her "beach outfit".

We have also learned to be prepared with two of everything. You just never know when Phoebe is going to feel left out if she is not offered an infant eating device.

Phoebe is such a silly little girl, and she manages to make all of us laugh all of the time!

September 2008

We attended Eric and Samatha's lovely wedding in South Lake Tahoe. The day was perfect. It was Phoebe's first wedding. She was in awe of the flowers, the ceremony, and just the formality of everything. I have discovered that Phoebe loves to dress up. She is particularly into poofy dresses and shiny shoes.

AUGUST 2008

We had a fabulous time with our friends this summer in Tahoe! Phoebe celebrated her 2nd birthday and Steve turned 40.

Update! May-June-July

Sisterhood is a beautiful thing! The girls had a wonderful summer spending time with family and friends. I was randomly able to get on Blogger this morning (major malfunction lately) so here are a few photos to capture events at the end of Spring and the beginning of Summer.
