Holiday Cheer!

Phoebe has been keeping us so busy and equally entertained. She had breakfast with Santa with whom she would not sit for a photo. She creates her own fun and imaginative play which is quite amusing and impressive. She is still pretty unaware of the changes that will occur in March (baby sister), but we think she will actually embrace her once she arrives.

Kauai

We just returned from Kauai. Phoebe's first Hawaiian vacation.

We hiked along the Napali Coast. Phoebe lasted about five minutes in her backpack. Mommy had to carry her the rest of the way.

Sterling's Birthday!

Okay, I realize that we are already two weeks into November, but I had to post these cute photos. Phoebe had a blast at Sterling's first birthday party in October. Maverick seemed to be obsessed with Phoebe's hair, as you can see in these snapshots. The party was one of the best we'd been too! Thanks Cyndi for a great day!

Phoebe's Personality

Phoebe has become more vocal in expressing her needs, and she is suddenly determined to dress herself these last few weeks. She seems very goal oriented, and she refuses our help with any task. She is quite strong willed, but lovable as well. We are appreciating every stage of her growth and development, and we see a true mix of both of us in her!

Phoebe's 1st Birthday Party!

Phoebe celebrated her first birthday with 100 of her closest friends. She enjoyed sharing her bouncy house and swimming pool with all of the other children. It was a wonderful day, and we were so grateful to have close relatives and friends travel many miles to see her.

Phoebe's Summer

These are just a few snapshots of Phoebe at the Dollar Point Beach. She loves to play in the sand and walk down the pier with her Daddy. She was a little nervous around the crawfish which were swimming around in that bucket. We take lots of breaks for snacks because regular mealtime is tough with our picky eater. However, Phoebe did enjoy her first spaghetti dinner up in Tahoe! Prior to that, she enjoyed a weekend with her girlfriend, Sterling. We had a fun time visiting with Cyndi, Davin, and Maverick as well. We can't wait to go back up there after this string of on call weekends.
